In the early days of the internet we developed static sites. The content of a web page could only be changed by editing the page off-line and uploading the replacement.

With new developments such as dynamic hypertext mark-up language (DHTML), cascading style sheets (CSS) and extensible mark-up language (XML) we are able to include dynamic content to build much more powerful web applications. Not all users will be aware, but when they view an availability calendar or submit a search etc, data is sent between the client's browser and the website server. The resulting page is newly created by the server and is delivered direct to the client.

Dynamic content can be provided using a variety of methods including connections to on-line databases. For temporary data, or for relatively low volume client-server applications we favour purpose built high speed text file databases.

Reusable Code

Over the years we have established a library of reusable code. This means that the programming work behind an on-line booking system, for example, can be we modified to suit your needs.
